6/14/15 Sunday's Verses

Well, Vacation Bible School has just two days left at our little church.  The kids are having so much fun learning Bible lessons, playing games, making crafts and eating the tastiest snacks.  I must admit that the adults are having a lot of fun too.  What a great bunch of kids we have coming each day.  It's such  blessing to get to know these little ones and to serve the Lord in this way.

If you have kids (kindergarten thru 6th grade) that would like to join in the fun, it's not too late, We still have two more days of fun planned for this week. Just come. VBS is from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm Thursday and Friday - with a closing ceremony at the end on Friday.

1 Peter 4:7-11  (ESV)

Colossians 1:9-10  (ESV)

And so, from the day we heard, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, 10 so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God.

For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ. 13 For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body--Jews or Greeks, slaves or free--and all were made to drink of one Spirit. 14 For the body does not consist of one member but of many. 15 If the foot should say, "Because I am not a hand, I do not belong to the body," that would not make it any less a part of the body. 16 And if the ear should say, "Because I am not an eye, I do not belong to the body," that would not make it any less a part of the body. 17 If the whole body were an eye, where would be the sense of hearing? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Do all work miracles? 30 Do all possess gifts of healing? Do all speak with tongues? Do all interpret? 31 But earnestly desire the higher gifts. And I will show you a still more excellent way.
